Episode 41. A Force of Conscience

This weeks episode of the Brought to Light Masonic Podcast is dedicated to a discussion on the topic of a force of conscience as we continue our sojourn into the masonic, symbolic, philosophical and practical interpretation of the working tools of Craft Freemasonry.

Your hosts Bro Jack Aquilina and Bro David Illingworth provide some perspective on what it means to have a conscience, how the working tool of a common gavel may be interpreted as an allegory for this important building block of a good man and some ideas on morality. Is morality divinely given and innate or is it a product of an every evolving human society? The brethren explore some aspects of social contract theory and provide their perspectives on how we should embody our conscience as freemasons and the extent to which we should be a force for good in modern society.

Also catch up on the latest in masonic news from Victoria and from across Australia whilst keeping in the loop about the next must get to event hosted by the Blue Lounge Social Club near you.
