Episode 20. Science, Light & Reflections

Join your host Bro Jack Aquilina for Episode 20 of the Brought to Light Masonic Podcast dedicated to reading some interesting masonic pieces relating to the topics of Science, Light and Reflection. The first article was written by WBro Paul Alexander of the Victoria Lodge of Research entitled “Let’s Face Reality” dedicated to a discussion about why Freemasonry needs to embrace science and reason rather than religious teachings. We then consider the topic and symbolism of Light by reading a chapter of WBro Michael Schiavello’s incredible book “Know Thyself” that explores the significant of Light from a number of perspectives. WBro Michael’s book can be purchased at Lewis Masonic.  The episode is wrapped up with an article from the Midnight Freemasons Blog that discusses the symbolism of the Chamber of Reflection and its absence from the modern day Craft.
